Good luck. I had a really hard time with this. Took 2 weeks of offering nothing but bottles to switch and was a grumpy time for all of us! One thing that helped was setting ds up on pillows and just sitting as far away as safely possible and putting on extra clothing. He could still smell the milk and I didn't have anyone else to feed him so just tried to get as far away as I could.

Same feed every day offer him the bottle. One of the top up not very big feeds so it doesn't matter if he won't take it. He will eventually get the idea.

Get someone else to feed him, he will still be able to smell your breast milk if you do it. I got really sick one day and hubby put my first baby on the bottle because he wanted me to get better, since then he's been in charge of putting all our kids on the bottle when they got to a certain age.

If the only reason is because he's hurting you due to teeth I found that a moderately loud pain response when ever my ds hurt me with his teeth helped him learn how not to. We breastfed until he had a mouth full of teeth.
I'm not sure if anyone else said this but my ds liked the long comforting sucking even with a bottle so he always preferred slowly flowing teats even as quite an old baby.

Start a feed on the boob then swiftly change to the bottle

My LO is bf and wanted to get her use to the bottle incase I ever got sick or something, I gave her water with a couple drops of Ribena and it worked! She is 11 months now but uses a sippy cup.

We had this problem too, ds would not take any bottle I tried so I had to keep breastfeeding luckily he didn't bite much but then at 13 months all of a sudden he wanted the bottle and wouldn't have a bar of me!! He is now 18 months and loves his bottle and because he is a very tiny boy we will keep it up for a while yet. I guess the only advice is too keep offering it goodluck ?

I have about 4 different types on bottles he takes one in his sleep sometimes for my mum if I'm lucky lol he's just a boobie monster, if he didn't hurt me it wouldn't bother me I was hoping to bf till he's 1 but if he keeps going I won't be lol

Have you tried different teats? My lo refuses the orthodontic type ones, she just likes the normal shaped ones

We tried everything at that age with my ds too but went straight to a drink bottle, however, the little bugger would only take water out of it, not milk. Milk on,y comes from boobies apparently. He's 11months now and still bf. lucky for me he doesn't bite!

Are you offering formula or breast milk in the bottle?
Breast milk would be better to start with as baby is already used to the taste. You should also get someone else to give the bottle as ifs it's you your baby is excepting you not a bottle.
