Hello all! I had an elective ultrasound yesterday because my husband missed our appointment last week due to travel for work and he was extremely jealous ? they were so clearly in different sacs at the beginning. Seemed like they weren’t yesterday as they appeared right on top of each other. I’m 12 weeks. Thoughts? Doesn’t seem possible but I thought it was interesting.
Oh Ok, that makes sense. My first couple were really clear as well :)
Agree with PP. As they get bigger the membrane becomes really hard to see. My first couple of ultrasounds were very clearly separate, but then it just became a jumble as time went on. When you have an actual medical scan like for NT/anatomy/growth they try to find the membrane and save a shot of it.
Oh ok, interesting. In some of the pictures the membrane was to the left side and the babies on the right. I kind of figured it was maybe the angle or something. We never saw them clearly in their own sac. Anyway, just thought I was interesting. Thanks for sharing :) and thanks for the congrats! We are so thrilled :)
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
Okay day before yesterday I tried anal lol , OMG what a awkward feeling , what was your thoughts on it mamas 😂😂😂
Forgive me if this offends anyone but is it just me or does it seem like doctors are so quick to jump to c-sections these days? Even my midwife at 30 weeks said if my baby doesn’t turn (he’s transverse) I’ll have to have a c-section. Which of course put so many thoughts in my mind that I didn’t necessarily need because I still have ten weeks. I just don’t get it I guess. Technically we can go to 42 weeks.
Yep my first ultrasounds you can clearly tell their in separate sacs but now im 6 months + and babies are literally touching, heads side by side.....the sac is very thin, basically just a thin mucus
