Help!!
My friend got a bed from her MIL for her 2yo son. The bed and mattress was infested with bed bugs, she didn't know that it was the mattress (he has a skin sensitivity) or something else, which was bed bugs. She never had this problem and let me tell you, her house is spotless every time I went over. She's getting the bed bug bombs and I'll be helping her tomorrow with everything. What are some things that we could do before we bomb the house? What are some tips?

I unknowingly moved into an apartment infested with them. We did 5 treatments before they cooked my apartment with a giant heater- heat is really the only thing to ensure they're all dead. We then tossed he mattresses, got new ones with special covers for them, and had to wash and dry all of our clothing & blankets on hot. Good luck.
Lol! I'm taking every precaution. I had to deal with it once at my apartment because we weren't told that an old tenant had bed bugs and when maintenance did the bombs, they all went to almost every apartment in the building. We also do the flea bombs once every two-three months at my new house cause my MIL is crazy lol we crank the heat up all the way after 4 hours, and then the next four we wait it out and go back into the house without the animals and kids and sweep and mop after wards and wipe everything down.
You are a good friend for wanting to help, I can't say I would offer the same in your shoes.
We had bedbugs last year the ONLY solution was to move, after 3 or 4 treatments. Pull the furniture away from the wall before you treat. Have a change of clothes ready for you before you go into your house or car, put everything into the dryer. Clean the bottom of your shoes.

The bombs dont work. The best method is heat. Heat will kill them.
