I swear he makes my day!
My SS came over and first thing he did was hug me and said happy Mother's Day! I swear I cried when I went to lay down in bed, I literally just walked in the door from an hour walk, I took off my shoes and I hear a knock it's him and grandpa Phil lol and I swear this boy is amazing lol.
I just wanna take a second to acknowledge OP's comment about the child's mother - "she's a hard working mother".
I've read so many rants from women in relationships where someone else's children are involved, and they blame the biological mom EVERY SINGLE TIME.
It's super refreshing to see this kind of positivity. And from a young girl no less. Very mature op.
I called my step-son that before his father and I were actually married.. We've been together 8 years and married for 3..so those 5 years before marriage his son lived with us (still does) he's been with me more than his mom, so married or not I considered him my step-son even if I was just the "girlfriend" so I don't see anything wrong with her referring to him as step-son..
Happy Mothers Day btw :)
"She's a hard working mother"...You get major points from me for that comment.
So many women say terrible things about their so's "baby mama", and find fault with everything they do. There are tons of us (non crazy) bio moms who would love for our children to have a stepmom who is able to show a little bit of respect and decency.
That's very sweet, op. He sounds like a nice kid.
Many ladies bítch that the girlfriend/step mom doesn't care about the child but one here is proving that she cares about this boy and this is a bad thing? Sure, that makes sense ?
All she said was he made her day. I don't see where she was playing house.. All this because she said SS. For all you know she could've abbreviated SS: SO's Son. A bit dramatic to make a big deal
I've been with DF for 2 and a half years, you would know if you saw my other posts instead of the ones with the room mate. She introduced me to their kid 7 months ago. So thank you. Maybe instead of assuming stuff, ask. I said SS because it's easier to type while playing video games with him. I'm sorry I'm horrible with ages, hell I even forget my age most of the time.
For one, I'm horrible with ages. His birthday is May 27th. My DF forgets his sons bday half the time and I remind him. And I love how I'm being chewed out for my rave. Well sorry that him and I aren't married. Don't have a big enough house for all of us, or even enough money to get another place. So please leave your negative replies somewhere else. Thank you.
Wait... Where did she play house with someone else's child? I'm not sure if she actually considers herself his step mother since I don't see where she said that either. It's quicker to right SS instead of "my boyfriends child" but it means the same thing. I'm guessing she's either pregnant with his fathers child or already had a child with him so she's going to be around that little boy a lot since that is her child's sibling, I'm assuming. That doesn't mean she's playing house.
Yeah, if he were your SS I'm pretty sure you would know his age. Being in someone's life an being with their father for 7 months does not make you that child's anything.
It sweet he looks at you that way, it must make you feel nice.
But you kinda did yourself in on this one. Sorry OP.
He does see his son, every Sunday and anytime his mom can drop him off. She's a hard working mother. He's a great father to his son. His mom is very weird about Noah sleeping over since she doesn't know the room mate really well and she doesn't like him the room mate. It took a while for her to introduce SS to me. I actually just met him less than 7 months ago
I believe her SO is older than her. I met my SO when I was 17 and he was 20 with a 2 year old. Wasn't the smartest idea and I learned things the hard way but it was my problem and life to deal with. Just like this is OP's life and whatever comes of this is her problem and is in no way anybody's on here problem. She doesn't have to answer to any of you
That's very sweet of your SS op.
Sorry ladies. SO is 19 turning 20 this year. I believe he's 4 or 5. I'm horrible with ages. SO isn't in high school.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

This is NOT happening !!!!!!! I swear I had given up! But I'm 5 days late and I just got my BFP ???
I swear my husband is gunna get my ass pregnant if he doesn't keep his hands to himself, oh. & the condom broke last night 🙄 there goes $50 more dollars lol
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
I disagree, my brothers girlfriend , is a stepmother to my two nieces, she throws birthdays partys, coaches ones softball team, and they have family pictures, that she puts together, she does allot of regular mom things , when she buys for her daughter she buys for all the girls even though they don't live with them, she was just in the er with one she got hit in the head with a baseball at an Astros game, so yea I consider her their step mom but my brother and her are not married nor do they have kids together.
