Post from last night
I know I sounded ridiculous last night. But I meant financially stable like able to take care of my unborn LO and Was I petty about it? Yes. But I just told her she needed to learn from her mistakes because she could've been on the floor of it was anyone else. I don't hate her, I don't dislike her, I just thought it was rude to talk about someone who she doesn't even know. I do live at home waiting to get a new place with my DF. If anyone has read, he has a one bedroom apartment and that its impossible to fit 4 people in it. Do I have a job? No, but am I looking? Of course. My DF has had his job for almost three years and get enough money to support his apartment, him, the baby, and I. He says his money is my money and the only thing I have gotten off of his card was for getting a water bottle. I'm sorry if my post sounded rude last night and sorry for not replying due to falling asleep. But I really won't tolerate her saying things about me that was really not true. So I told her how I felt and I was a little rude about it. The girl wouldn't hurt a fly. And after she apologized i told her just don't do it again and if it was someone else, she wouldn't get a confrontation, the drama would still go on until they fight (that's how it is in my school) and she agreed and apologized once more. She's a sweet girl. I never said one bad thing about her. I'm sorry if it sounded like I antagonized her. I didn't say it in front of a whole group of people, I pulled her aside and talked to her. I know I shouldn't be explaining myself but I'm sorry if it sounded like I was rude about the whole thing and how it came off to some people.

No it's 7. I'm actually on my way to school lol.

It's 4am here is that close enough ?
deleted-user·
@Aher I like the way you think!
Eta: OP I understand why you were annoyed by someone talking behind your back. But I think being a teen mom, you're gonna have to get use to it, so maybe try next time to let it go (?) even if it's hard.
And I hope you're not implying that you could have hit her...

Yeah I was talking to you @tarzaan ? I was being all jealous of your wine ? while sitting here eating my banana?!

I read your post last night and I read all the comments as well. A lot of the comments were unnecessary and petty, especially since you didn't elaborate on your post.
I totally can relate to you. I've heard it all. I was a teen mom at 17, and being talked about ALL the time seriously got to me. I'm glad you're looking for a job to better yourself and support your unborn. Keep working hard, finish school, and I hope great things come your way.

I've missed something ? ?

@cami im actually just eating Greek Yogurt with chia seeds, raspberries, blueberries with a bit of vanilla essence whilst imaging wine. Yogurt is a very close second though.

I'm at work ? Graveyard life. ?
deleted-user·
@tarzaan Well... now I'm jealous of your yogurt ? I think I'm just gonna go add whipped cream to my banana

I read your post last night too. I also was pregnant at 17. Another girl that I went to school with, who was my best friend's friend, was also pregnant. She chose to place her baby for adoption. She she always told my best friend that I shouldn't keep my baby either. I'm sure a lot of people felt this way, but she was the only one who was really adamant about it. I never said anything to her though. Sometimes I wish I would have. Just because my choice wasn't her choice didn't make me less of a person. So I understood where you were coming from.

Thank you TB. I couldn't work because of my social anxiety but I've been working on it for a few months by going to the store by myself and getting things and having conversation with the cashiers and asking for help than feel scared to do so. I really didn't want to sound rude but I did.

@tame. My best friend Madi placed her daughter in adoption but would never tell me that, I'm sorry that people can be rude about teen moms and how they choose what to do with their LOs. My biggest fear is that he'll be picked on by other kids since I'm a teen mom.
deleted-user·
I'd say your social anxiety must be a lot better for you to confront her the way your did. I would just play the scenario in my head a hundred different ways with different outcomes and then decide to say nothing lol.
I didn't comment yesterday because the post went off into left field is that I'm not sure you friend was 100% innocent in that either. If it's known and obvious she's your best friend why would the other girl talk about you like that? Unless she thought what she was saying would be kept quiet by your friend. Instead of defending you or speaking up your friend stood their and let the girl go on and on about you and all she did was tell you ?

@tarzaan bananas suck and at the end you'll have a rocking new body to show off! (Sorry if I'm wrongfully assuming you're doing this diet for weight loss purposes)

No my best friend Madi stood up for me in front of the girl. But yes, my anxiety has been a lot better than it was before.

How will you be able to care for the baby with no job? A minimum wage job working part time doesn't go far. You're not financially stable for this baby. Like I said last night that's NOT a dig at 17 yr olds. I wouldn't expect a 17 yr old to be able to take care of a child that's not what they are supposed to be doong, but it happens so you step up and take care of the baby.

@cami, been doing it about a month and ive already lost 6 kilos. It wasnt intended for weight loss but thats a hell of a bonus.. Nah I quit sugar amd carbs because I have Fibromyalgia and Lupus, its literally cut my inflammation levels in half and I have sooo much more energy for it. I f*** ing have people that boast about their diet bull s*** but this is really helping my pain management and im just so grateful to not be chewing codeine 24/7 anymore..

I wasn't able to get a job due to not having time between my after school classes I needed and couldn't get through to my New Horizons doctors due to other personal reasons that needed to discussed. I also have group I went to for my school. But since I'm out of those, I've been looking for daycares to work at since I have my tests done to become an assistant teacher but no one is hiring unless it's in a different county.
deleted-user·
OP, my daughter hasn't been picked on at all. Surprisingly, I can't say that I ever got sideways looks or mean comments about being a young mom from her classmates' parents either. Chin up, it'll all work out!

Thank you @tame. My cousin was bullied for being a teen mom

@tarzaan that's amazing!!!!??? it's crazy how much what we eat affects our bodies! Congrats to you for sticking with your diet, it requires a lot of will power, but obviously you're rocking it!!!!!

I would look at other places hiring instead of a daycare. I doubt they'd hire anyone under 18 especially with no experience and no high school diploma. I wouldn't send my baby to a daycare who did lol no offense

Danielle, I took a college class my freshman, sophomore, and my junior/senior year for early childhood. I have taken my tests except the last three. I'm certified in CPR and will be certified to become an assistant teacher. I have yet to find dates for my tests at my local college. And they do take people at 16 and up. I'm 17, and I have found daycares that except my age but not in county that are hiring. I know a woman who owns a day care and will let me work there but since there are x amount of students they have the x amount of teachers and assistant teachers that are needed for the whole class.
I have taken my Rule and Regulations, Health and Nutrition, and Abuse and Neglect tests. I just have to do the next three. I have worked with children in my college class.
