birth center/midwife

Is there any one from dallas tx that had pregnancy medicaid and medicaid paid for a Birthing center or midwife? I am 20w 4d so i feel i am running out of time. I have had 2 hospital births but want to do natural if possible and have a different experience. :) Thanks

Call your type of Medicaid insurance that you have and they should let you know if it will cover for one and they will give you a list of the ones that will take that insurance

Not in Texas (Illinois here), but my girlfriend just gave birth at the birthing center and Medicaid covered it. Suggesting to you search midwifes and if need call and ask if they accept Medicaid.

My hospital officially posted on their website that no spouses are aloud in during birth/post partum. So guess who’s gonna have to freaking look into a midwife for vbac tomorrow 🙃 not an option to have my fiancé miss the whole birth of our son. Freaking crazy.
