It seems 2 weeks is the popular answer especially if you've had a d & c or d & e. to reduce risk of Infection I've they suggest condoms the first couple times. I looked this up online last night too and it seems to be legit.
Unfortunately for me it hasnt been two weeks yet and I haven't been to my follow up appt as of yet.
im so sorry for your loss! my heart goes out to you! thanks for replying to this post. im not trying to get pregnant again i just feel fine to be intimate with my husband
If you didn't get a d&c and you don't have any pain down there, I say whenever you are ready. I had a d&c with my mc, so I had to wait 6 weeks. and I wasnt emotionally ready. I cried a lot. I remember trying to do something with my hubby after my mc and my breasts started leaking breastmilk. I couldn't handle it. I cried so bad. I felt like my body should know that the baby is gone.
well from my lmp i was 6 weeks but the doctors werent sure how far along i was but i think i was like 4 weeks or less. i didnt get a d&c they said i didnt need one. im not bleeding anymore either.
I had sex as soon as the bleeding stopped. No issues so far
