help!
Okay so, I went in yesterday for a routine NST. I have them twice a week due to being high risk and I am 32 weeks. Normally as soon as I'm all hooked up and have my blood pressure taken the nurse will leave me be until it's time to take the monitors off. Well this time she didn't. She stayed and kept taking my blood pressure and checking the paper printing out then taking it again and checking the paper again. I just ignored her and figured it was just the machine messing up. Then she asked me if I was feeling and contractions or if I had been having them lately, I explained I had a few of what I assumed were braxton hicks a few weeks ago but that was it. Then she looked at me strange and asked me again if I felt anything now, and I said no again. She then proceeded to tell me that I was having mild contractions 1-2 mins apart which only went away after 20 mins. She went and called the doctor and the doctor said if I'm not feeling them she isn't concerned and to just have them check my cervix when I go in on Tuesday unless I felt it was necessary to have them check it now and I didn't want to be a bother so I said no... Should I have had them check it then? I'm also feeling some pressure down there now and didn't know if it was normal. Does anyone have any experience with this? First time momma here.

It's hard to say. I've had alot of contractions. But they are painful so I feel them. They aren't causing me to dilate anymore as of the last time I got checked though. I'm 30 weeks. Since you weren't checked there is no way to know. I would just keep an eye on it and see if you notice any.

Anytime their willing to check I would allow them too. But that’s just me

That's just it she made it seem like there was a problem with them checking that's why I said not to worry about it

I've not had contractions that I can tell. I was at L and D for bleeding 2 nights ago. Apparently I'm 2 cm dilated but baby is high. They weren't going to check me but did after they checked the bleeding idk why. She did say that the cervix is never the same after the first baby especially after a big baby.
