Has anyone had a nonstress Test???
Have any of you ladies have a non stress test? Went in for my weekly today 39w2D and still only 1cm dilated but 70% effaced. My due date is the 11th but doctor scheduled me for non stress test on the 13th. Baby heart rate was 150 and stomach measured 41. I don't know what to expect and I'm freaking out. I went from pre term labor/bed rest at 32 weeks because I was stressed with work and kept having close contractions. Now nothing is happening but back pain, plenty of pressure and moving active baby boy. I'm so scared now.
I get them twice a week, one at the hospital where I’ll be giving birth and the other at the hospital where my specialist is. Mine is due to Polyhydramnios. They’re not bad at all, usually 30mins to an hour tops. I also get an ultrasound after one of them each week. You just get hooked up to a monitor to listen to baby’s heartbeat and check to see if you’re having contractions or not and if you are see how baby’s heartbeat reacts to them. Definitely puts my mind more at ease.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

I have 2x weekly NST. They strap 2 sensors around your belly you sit back drink ice water and play cell phone games for 20 min to an hour . If baby doesn't cooperate you eat a snack...if baby still doesn't cooperate they gently give a quick vibration to your tummy (much like your cell on vibrate). One sensor measures baby's heart rate and the other for contractions. You really do nothing but relax...
