People who didn't know Do you know anyone who didn't know they were pregnant?

I have an anterior placenta but my little girl must be a strong kicker because this FTM feels the kicks hard since 18 weeks ! Lol

I love these stories! I wish I didn't get every symptom in the book.

I have a friend who went to the doctors for bad 'cramps'

Turned out she was 37 weeks pregnant.. Gave birth to a heathy 8pound boy 2 weeks later. His now 6 months old :)

She was a size 10 as well! So small, but her stomach didn't grow!! ?

I found out at over 16weeks ... The only reason I found out was because we went to a fertility dr to get me tested for pcos.

I really don't think I would have known for longer if I hadn't gone to the dr.

My mum didn't know till she was 5 months with me.

We also have a friend who has had it happen twice. She has PCOS so rarely has a cycle. First time she went to hospital thinking she was dying or had appendicitis, she was in labour lol, they didn't have a thing & she drank & smoked cigarettes the whole time she was mortified.

Her husband had to go buy everything with his mum before they could come home.

Her 2nd pregnancy she thought she was pregnant again because she had some minor symptoms like a bit of heartburn, bit tired, when she went for a dating scan she was 7 months ???

I am 100% for real. She had zero idea at all.

My sister rekons she didnt know till she was in labor . She is a bone so i have no idea hiw she felt nothing ? i find it so hard to belive one doesnt know there pregnant im 28 wks and i think.im dying ?

With my first I was 11 weeks when we found out, not far along but had no sickness or nausea, the only reason I suspected was because I was really tired!! Couldn't imagine finding out half way or over haha!! On the plus side it would make for a shorter wait for baby ?

I didn't know i was pregnant as i was on the pill and never had morning sickness, i found out at 23 weeks i had movement and thought it was gas and i felt bloated, i didnt start showing until 26/27 weeks, its possible hard to believe but it is haha

Wow bashyandeli that's amazing!!! Twins are pretty awesome with the connection they develop. I have twin sisters who are very much like that.

Imagine not knowing..... lol in ways I think that would be frigging amazing, an absolute shock but no morning sickness, none of the horrendous symptoms some people endure.... just no time to plan but what a blessing.

I just can't understand how they don't feel it! I understand the whole anterior placenta thing, I have one this pregnancy but 23 weeks and I can feel baby clearly now. Imagine third trimester!

Yes! I have friends who are identical twins and one twin (a) swore black and blue she was had test upon test and ultrasounds definitely wasn't pregnant, about 4 months later twin (b) found out she was actually 27 weeks pregnant and had not stopped her periods and not developed a bump nor had she had any symptoms.

So twin A felt all the symptoms including kicking and wasn't pregnant yet twin B felt nothing and was in fact almost in her third Tri. ?

Edit: they are both 6 feet tall and size 6 little sticks. Still no belly. And I know coz I saw her numerous times in those months.

I have an anterior placenta and am lucky to feel a movement a day and it was the same with my daughter.

Also because some women bleed throughout their whole pregnancy I fully believe in not knowing until late/until the birth.

Yep. My ex's cousin. I visited her and her baby in hospital. It definitely happened. She was a bigger girl and she had pcos so she never had regular af. She went to work one day, started getting stomach pains and called an ambulance because she thought she had appendicitis. It all happened really fast. She arrived at hospital, got told she was actually in labour and had a baby girl in her arms 1 hour later. Her husband got a call at work telling him he had a daughter. He thought it was a practical joke and wouldn't believe anyone. They really and truly had no idea she was pregnant. They has nothing prepared and the whole family was in shock.

I have heard of this happening and people not knowing until in labour..... I'm really unsure of how people wouldn't know only because from my experience it's pretty obvious with me. I do know a girl who didn't know until she was 25 weeks though. I can understand how that could happen but not sure about going a whole 9 months with no idea though.

I went to school with a girl who found out at 7.5 months?

Her dad had died and she had been eating and drinking a lot as coping mechanisms and she was overweight to start with, so she didn't notice her belly growing

Personally, I don't know how you can't possible know.

There's so many signs, you might not get all of them but you'd have to get some

Morning sickness

Extreme tiredness

Hormonal

No period

Feeling the baby move (I have an anterior placenta and I can still feel heaps of movement)

Unknown it happens but it just boggles my mind how!

A girl I went to school with didn't know she was pregnant until she was in labour. I find that rather odd ?
