Yes chewing ice is a sign of anemia. And giving into your cravings and chewing the ice is going to worsen your anemia.

Is craving cleaning products like pine sol an anemia sign or am I just weird? I always have low iron but I literally have to bite my tongue and cheeks when I’m cleaning the bathroom cuz I want to drink the pine sol so bad. And I have a cup of ice on me at all times lol drives my husband crazy cuz I make him run out to the store if we’re low ?

The concrete one I’ve had too!! Especially right after it rains!!! Ughhhh. I wish it would go away. I don’t think my iron pills are working. I have a container of sand hidden in the most obvious place but my husband almost saw it today I about had a heart attack.. ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️

Right ice is the only normal one. My husband wants me to go fishing but I can’t if o smell the sand and dirt I want to eat it sooo bad!!! We left after 10 minutes last week it was all bad.

@princessmarie95 lol really!! Then you need an ice shaver. I was hesitant to buy it at first cause I though it's just a silly craving. But I crave it at least 3x a day and it's well used, after it I'm not craving it much I'll just use it for snow cone maker for the little ones, just gotta buy the syrups ????. I don't get any smell cravings tho hahha

I’ve already beeen to the gas station twice today for ice I’m about to make my third trip!! The struggle is real!! They laugh at me every time. Anemia craving re the worst. I have a bottle of comet next to my bed hiding from my husband because I crave the smell. I swear it calms me down too
