Anyone had baby face up unmedicated??

My first born (boy) came out like this but he was 3 weeks early born at 37 weeks 2 days. I was only in labour wiv him about 5 hours tops didn’t use any pain relief as it made me feel sick. He labour and delivery was really quick.

But my second born (girl) came out the same but she was born at 40 weeks 5days and labour wiv her was way longer and wen she came out she wasn’t breathing (unfortunately 5 days after her birth we had to turn her life support off) but they say that back to back is the most painful way u can give birth. Xx

I did. Back labor. Worst ever sorry to say. I did it tho!!!! My first 2 were also unmedicated but easier. Don’t panic just focus and do it.

I just had twins 4 months ago, second baby was posterior. I pushed him out completely unmedicated. It took a little longer than my other births (still not very long though, just a few minutes push time) and it was definitely more painful. You forget the pain eventually though and it really wasn’t that bad. The worst thing was that I didn’t feel the urge to push and when I had to push it felt very unnatural.

He did come an hour and a half after first twin, probably wouldn’t have taken so long if he wasn’t posterior. I also had another son that was posterior. His labor was not too long though, 7 hours total maybe. So longer than the births before him but not terrible. I did get an epidural right before pushing him though and they went in and flipped him around. It made the pushing (only a few minutes worth) a lot easier than it would have been and I only had minimal tailbone pain since his birth (8 years ago LoL). This last posterior birth seemed to have moved my tailbone quite a bit though ?

My first (and only labour so far) was posterior. I didn’t actually know until I got to the hospital and my midwife told me to get on the bed on all fours because he was posterior. (He wasn’t the entire pregnancy or 3days prior) it all made sense then because all my pain had been in my lower back. I got in the pool after that and had a nice water birth, with no medication. I had a short 5hr labour (active) and a posterior birth, now it was no walk in the park and yes it did hurt, but it didn’t hurt as much as I was expecting it to. And was surprised at how well I did. He was born after 20mins of being in the pool.

Now I’m pregnant with my 2nd and am actually scared of the birth not being posterior this time, now that its what I’ve experienced and would know what to expect.

All three of mine were. Back labor isn’t fun but it’s totally doable. My first was a hospital birth induction with an epidural, 25 hours but I was medicated almost the entire time. My second was a home water birth 17 hrs. My third was another home water birth and was 6hrs. I had zero problems pushing them out. I’m gathering this baby will be posterior as well so I’m prepared. My last two were also Hypnobirths, I was able to relax and surrender my body to the process. Maybe purchase the hypnobirthing book and try to read as much as you possibly can? It really helped with the back labor.

All of my 3 babies have come back-to-back/posterior. With my first they didn't believe I was pushing die to being posterior and had to move quickly to catch her. That was 7 hours. My second was a water birth and took 4. I was in slow Labour with my third for 3 days but once it got going it took 2 hours. Your body can turn a posterior baby whilst your in Labour, just go with your body.
