Soft Cervix
I'm only 32+1 and had a cervical check because of sharp pains( lightning crotch) in cervix. I'm having lots of BH too. Midwife said cervix is soft. My next appt is soon but I'm starting to freak out a bit. I know everyone is different but how long can your cervix be soft for? In your experience was it weeks before labour or months?
I'm not dilated at all. My cervix is soft...that's it he couldn't even feel the baby's head. I'm so disappointed I could cry.. Over it... Fucking over it.
I'm due in May but I feel like this girl will make a early arrival.. 1cm dialated and soft cervix already 😊😉😍
Does it hurt the first time they check your cervix?
I'm 3cm dilated 😱 my doctor said she can be here in a week or less wow i'm so excited!!!! The whole checking your cervix part not so much lol it hurts so bad!!!
Unfortunately dilation and effacement doesn't necessarily mean anything... You could go weeks while 3cm. If you start noticing bloody show or consistent contractions or leaking waters call your Dr or head to the hospital just to be safe. Just try to take it easy though.
I've noticed that the days where i do more physical activities (and the day after too) i have stronger BHs and i can hardly walk due to hip, back, and cervical pain. So i try not to put too much stress on my body. Easier said than done though ?
