@keiki what did the debris look like. I think that may be what I'm passing. I need to invest in some dermaplast!
MommyTerri I am calling my Dr about that today..I am nearing 6w pp and no matter what I do its still extremely smelly down there..I am worried about womb infection.
I have a UTI and had a section. Some days I have a lurker more blood then others. Do you think you might have one? I'd call your Doc. Hope everything resolves.
I had a odor close to my 6 weeks... No matter what I did it was terrible. I thought it was infected but the Dr said it was normal. I delivered vaginally too.
I can relate, had all those symptoms the first time & passed "debris" a few days later. It was scary & a surprise, didn't know that things could be left behind in the uterus.
This second time I'm healing super fast 5 days postpartum. Still, The burning is totally normal & I have it exactly as you describe it. Curious, do you have stitches? Itching & burning are normal w stitches. Either way, Use the peri-bottle or any squeeze bottle everytime you go. Put a few drops of Betadine in it & fill w warm water. Squirt as you pee & after--it really soothes plus it disinfects. Use Dermaplast numbing spray to dull the burn/itch till the next go. Good luck!
I'm 3 weeks pp and the bleeding has slowed and is practically gone but things are still not back to normal. Still get sore where I was cut - I was given a cream that helps with the pain. Maybe your doc can recommend something topical for you.
Use the squirt bottle thing they give you as you pee to flush the pre with water to help relieve the sting.

It's not an uti. And I say this because the burning doesn't come from the actual act of peeing, it's more so when the urine hits the outside. Like the acid mixed with the rawness of my vagina. Idk how to explain it. I just thought it would go away by now.
And the odor is definitely in the bloody discharge mixture.
I had a csection but also had very painful urinating. I ended up in the hospital to find I had a bad uti from catheter. First and will try my best to make it my last uti
I had a c section 4 weeks ago and I have a foul odor too. When I called the dr, he said the uterus has "debris" that can smell bad, but it doesn't mean there is an infection. He did put me on antibiotics just to be safe though. Now I'm done with that, and the odor is still there, along with intense itching. I'm also having days of no bleeding, and days of heavy bleeding. And lots of nasty looking mucus. Sorry for tmi. I have my 5 week postpartum visit next week. Will definitely be asking him about these issues.
Did you get an epidural done? If so the burning is most likely from the catheter they inserted.
Sorry you're going through this. You may want to check with your dr because you may have a uti. They normally involve pain and a possibly foul odor
I'm over 2 weeks pp and still
Uncomfortable down there. Its a lot better and I noticed after the fist week things definitely felt better especially going pee. Not sure about the odor tho. Hang in there
The urine burning is normal especially if you have any abrasions, tears, or stitches. The bleeding is normal as well, I have some days that I bleed and some days I don't. Drinking alcohol or doing any heavier activity then normal will cause a heavier flow. As for the smell I was told if there is a foul odor to contact my doctor.

Sorry, just seeing this question. It looked like thick blood clots or prices of skin almost, which I believe was bits of uterus left over; at one point I swear there was a piece of gauze that came out that has been left behind! ?
