Our little man is here! Born November 20th at 0144 at 37+2 weeks. Was induced early due to cholastasis and my arthritis. Let me say that pitocin-induced labours are tough!! But the prize is worth it! Kaiden is in the nicu as he was having trouble breathing after his speedy arrival, but hopefully we get to go home on Sunday...

He was 7lb 14oz at birth, but today is 7lb 8oz. But my milk should be in soon so his current weight won't last long!! He is one of the biggest babies in the nicu!
Thank you so much ladies for your kind words! It's been very busy and exhausting so far! Breastfeeding is slowly coming along, but we are having some latching issues so my nipples are so sore!! My 12 yr old dd can't come into the nicu either because she had the flu mist vaccine (which apparently causes you to shed the flu virus for 1 week after getting the vaccine). So time is spent between our little miracle and making sure my daughter doesn't feel left out.
But hopefully we will be able to take this little guy home tomorrow! Then we can settle into a better routine. ?
Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...

Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a...

My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
