When we got to the hospital today, they surprised us, saying Maddy was ready for her first bottle. She did great with it! They also put clothes on her and are weaning her off of the heat in the isolette. She'll be in the crib starting tomorrow morning!! What a wonderful day! As long as her feeds go well and she gains weight, I'm pretty sure she'll be home soon!!

It's all happening so fast now. They told us to start getting ready for her at home!! Of course, we're closing on a home 8/1. There are always a thousand things going on at the same time. ??

I hate my generation sometimes ? Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. This girl had no idea who Eric Clapton is. ? ♀ One of the most iconic songs, and she had no idea. I hate my generation. ?
The doctor just came in. With the changes in her breathing, nails and skin color she said maybe 48 hours but she doesn't think that she'll make it another 24.
Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
