Finally a picture with her eyes open! She seems to only open them for daddy when he visits at night..... ?

She is amazing... so beautiful. It was hard for me to brrastfeed my son since he was in nicu. If you want her out fast then let her bottle feed (thats what they told me) but then when I got him home he refused the boob. It broke my heart so bad. I even wore a nipple shield. Nicu babies prefer the bottle because its easier and they are exposed to that method. I hope that wont be the case for you, but be prepared just incase it is. I dont want you to be extreemely disappointed like I was.

@dollmaker85, that's my fear. They let me do it starting last week, and she sucks and gets some milk, but I am scared that if I only bf, it'll take a long time for her to come home. I have two freezers full at home of BM and a fridge and freezer full in the NICU. I'm hoping to be able to BF, but I am prepared if I can't... I hate washing bottles. Haha! ❤️

You are doing so good tho!!! Breastmilk will get her out of there and help her grow strong!!!! ((Hugs)) oh my son has a chromosome disorder, low muscle tone.... so your girl is probably stronger than my son!

I just got to the hospital a little while ago and she's been transferred to the step down nursery!!! We're getting closer and closer!! Needless to say, I cried my eyes out. What a great day for my peanut! ❤️
