I just got to the hospital a little while ago and she's been transferred to the step down nursery!!! We're getting closer and closer!! Needless to say, I cried my eyes out. What a great day for my peanut! ❤️
@dollmaker85, that's my fear. They let me do it starting last week, and she sucks and gets some milk, but I am scared that if I only bf, it'll take a long time for her to come home. I have two freezers full at home of BM and a fridge and freezer full in the NICU. I'm hoping to be able to BF, but I am prepared if I can't... I hate washing bottles. Haha! ❤️
She is amazing... so beautiful. It was hard for me to brrastfeed my son since he was in nicu. If you want her out fast then let her bottle feed (thats what they told me) but then when I got him home he refused the boob. It broke my heart so bad. I even wore a nipple shield. Nicu babies prefer the bottle because its easier and they are exposed to that method. I hope that wont be the case for you, but be prepared just incase it is. I dont want you to be extreemely disappointed like I was.

Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! I called the midwife at my hospital and told her I lost it and was having really bad cramping and she told me I was fine and was prob just having BH contractions.
