Hey, everyone! Another little update on my girl.... Today Maddy is six weeks old (33 weeks gestational age). She is 3lbs, 15.6 oz. We're hoping she hits the 4lb mark tomorrow!! She is off of cpap 18 hours a day and getting 32cc of breastmilk. They've been letting me "breastfeed" when I visit. She doesn't necessarily eat, just kinda licks and sucks a little until she falls asleep. All of her tests are normal (no brain bleeds, lungs and heart fine, etc). She had two eye exams so far and she'll be getting another one later this week to make sure her retinas are progressing. It's been an exhausting six weeks, but we're finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. At 34 weeks ga, she'll start on bottles and as long as she continues to grow, and can maintain her body temperature, she shouldn't have to be there too much longer! ?? Thank you to everyone who has been asking about my little girl! It means so much! ❤️

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

Preggie mom @njf1216 sadly posted today that her daughter Reagan Brinkley was born early at 35 weeks sleeping, when doctors discovered that she no longer had a heartbeat.
