Try some hydrocortisone 1% cream, that's what my daughters pedi prescribed for her eczema. And she takes oatmeal baths that are infused with lotion. She breaks out bad when she's dry, or gets too hot.
Did you confirm the spots were eczema? My son had some on his back that looked the same and they ended up being something else and it changed to slightly itchy bumps. I can't remember what it was called but it was normal and went away itself. I've been told to use .5 or 1% hydrocortisone cream in the past as well.
It's eczema, eczema in babies can look like a heat rash. I thought my lo had a heat rash actually, and it turned out to be eczema. I wasn't moisturizing his skin to try to keep the skin aired out, and it was making it worse, that's how I figured it out.
We went to the doctor and I was told it's a rash. Partly due to his eczema and also could be partly due to changing his bath wash( we were using Johnson and Johnson and after he got the eczema on his face I thought I would be proactive and buy aveeno eczema wash to avoid it on his body but his skin didn't take to it so well). They prescribed me a cream to use once a day to clear it up!!

I will definitely try the hydrocortisone cream.
I don't think so- he was still in his pajamas but my house is fairly cool.
First time mom and I panic over everything lol
