How long did you bleed after a D&C? I’m 17 past my D&C and I’m still spotting. Its pretty light, only there when I wipe (sorry tmi) but it’s bright red blood...

How long did you bleed after a D&C? I’m 17 past my D&C and I’m still spotting. Its pretty light, only there when I wipe (sorry tmi) but it’s bright red blood. Sometimes it’s mixed with a little mucus but not always. And it’s weird, there will be a day or so where I won’t bleed and then I’ll bleed for a day.... back and forth.

Thanks @jessig. I was going to call this morning but when I woke up the bleed had stopped again ??‍♀️ I’ll see what happens over the weekend and if I bleed at all I’ll call first thing on Monday. 
And I remember your story, what you went through is just awful. I can’t even imagine. Congrats on your recent bfp.. sending you lots of sticky baby dust!

I bled for 46 days straight. But I had retained products, needed a repeat d&c and even after that I passed a golf ball sized mass of retained products at home 18 weeks after the original d&c. I would put a call in and let your doctor know you're still bleeding.
