Cold medicine?
Hi ladies, I am currently 4w5d and have a little bit of a cold. The problem is it’s come with a nasty cough. Does any one know if it’s ok to take cough syrup while pregnant? And if so what kind? Thanks in advance, I’m kinda miserable. Lol

It’s COLD out today! It’s the perfect day for soup in the crockpot & a fire in the fireplace.
Do you guys give your babies and kids medicine for a cough? I never do because there really isn’t anything you can give, no cough syrup for children under 6. And my husband is obsessed with the thought that there is cough syrup, or that Tylenol will help a cold. I will only give Tylenol for a fever but he seems to think that it will actually heal the cold
What can I take for a cold? This cough and chest tightness is something serious! 😷😷

No :/ only Tylenol for aches and pains and cough drops. It really sucks being pregnant and sick.

Pineapple works on colds, I always load the kids up before cold season starts and they never get a cold or runny nose ??

My doctor prescribed me Promethazine because I was coughing and it was hurting so bad to cough. I asked him was it safe for pregnant women and he said he’s. The pharmacist said the same thing

I’m also on Promethazine right now for my coughs but it also doubles as nausea medicine because it was prescribed to me in my last pregnancy. So that is safe!
