Actually I’m still kind of confused on that fact. After the miscarriage he went ahead and ran the repeat loss blood panel on me even though this was my first pregnancy and first loss.. he said considering my age (35) and my history of infertility (almost 9 years) he felt it was warranted. The only thing that came back was an MTHFR gene mutation. But he said that he felt this wasn’t the cause, even though every thing I’ve read says it can be. He just said that with any pregnancy there’s something like a 20% chance of MC. ??♀️
He did go ahead and prescribe me methyl folate and baby aspirin this round as a precaution for the MTHFR.
@Celi I’m think my RE recommends bed rest so you don’t overdo it and to give your body a chance to do its thing. I’ve heard some doctors don’t do bed rest. I think it just depends on the doctor.
Yea I guess it depends on your doctor. Mine also said no bed rest but i did anyway and it worked... I think next round I'll do the same! Good luck ?? How are you feeling?
Surely it can’t hurt! ? I’m feeling ok, some minor cramps and a little bloating so far. I’m hoping this a good sign because that’s what my symptoms were last time before BFP.
@celi, yes the wait is killer! Especially since my clinic does do betas until14 days past transfer! Last time before my mc I got a positive on 6dpt, which is tomorrow ... but I think I’m too scared to test this time. ?
Congratulations hope it all goes well. My advice is rest up the first few days. Keep warm and drink plenty of water. It has worked for me. Just got my results today and I have a scan in two weeks to check for heart beat.

Congrats on being PUPO. Did your doc tell you why you miscarried?

Congrats!! Hope this will be the one for you :) Why bed rest? I'm wondering if I should do the same after my next FET transfer in January.
