To get the dogs use to having a baby around. Start putting baby thing down where they can smell them, wash a blanket or baby clothes with the baby wash you are going to be using for your baby, start to use the lotion you will be using on the baby on your skin where they can smell it (like your belly, arms, and legs if you wear shorts or even just your feet), also play the sounds of a baby crying at random times so they can get used to the noise, placing baby diapers the brand you will be using will help too. Beautiful dog and a wonderful picture shows true love. ?
I have two other pits but she is the only one inside when I'm outside my other two are just as affectionate or over protective they don't even let my fiance close either and the male is always sitting in between my legs. I love them idk how I'm going to get them used to the baby. That's my biggest worry.
She would always follow me around the house even before me knowing i was pregnant. She sleeps all over my belly abd the funny thing is that the baby kicks when she is near him as if he knows..lol
I'm gonna be doing that too! I figure, after my baby shower lll have all of the things that will be around..if I get a play mat, I'll lay it down and lay next to it with a baby doll and teach them that they can't walk on it. It does sound silly, but with my one jealous dog I think it's necessary!
