Low progesterone
So I got a positive beta today, but found out I have low progesterone and started prometrium. I've had two successful pregnancies without needing any progesterone supplements. The one other time I did need the prometrium, I ended up miscarrying around 6 weeks. Is this pregnancy doomed? I feel so defeated.

Progesterone helps your uterus maintain a pregnancy so taking the progesterone should help prevent miscarriage if they noticed it was low. On the other hand miscarriages can happen for so many other reasons so taking progesterone does not guarantee that you won't misscarry but I hope you don't . Congrats on your pregnancy .
