What is the best diapers to get?
I liked pampers when my son was younger but switched to Kirkland (costco brand) when he was older and loved them along with huggies. I also have recently tried target brand up & up and liked them.
I personally hate luvs and parents choice at least for toddlers. I also don't like pampers for toddlers because they don't have tge extra strip of velcro so they don't say in place as well as as Kirkland and huggies
Huggies!!
We use Huggies.
With my son I used mostly pamper swaddlers but he was actually in newborn for so long I tried target brand and he was fine with them. I switched to luvs when he got into bigger sizes I also buy pampers baby dry when they’re on sale and I have coupons
Huggies , luvs , parents choice Walmart brand .
Cloth : Nicki's diapers , bum genius .
I'm going to try a mix of Bambo Nature, Naty, and Honest for the newborn stage (all have far fewer chemicals than the more common brands), then once I feel recovered enough and used to having a baby (first time mum?) we'll switch to cloth! I actually can't wait to put our little guy in cloth diapers ?
Depends on the baby. With our first pretty much anything but huggies worked. She would blow out everytime. But I had friends that swore by huggies. Then our second we tried a lot of the more “natural” brands and cloth. The natural brands (honest, 7th generation, babyganics) worked fine, maybe not quite as absorbent as the pampers or luvs. But honest overnights worked well. Cloth are hands down my favorite for the day though.
Honest worked the best for my first daughter. Plan on using again with my second.
7th generation for me coz they are free of chemicals. Huggies pampers .... contain a lot of chemicals .
I really liked Huggins with my first but I’m trying Honest and a few others to see how they are
Stock up now: search for sales....
My daughter wore huggies until she was about a year, when they all of a sudden stopped working for her and she started having leaks all the time. After that I switched to pampers and the leaking stopped.
Definitely depends on thr baby. My 1st we were mostly pampers before switching to cloth. 2nd and 3rd we were mostly huggies. Target brand are also awesome unless youve got a heavy wetter then they sag so quickly which is just gross and even walmart brand have stepped up in quality. My only negative have ever been Luvs, every baby ive used them ob enddd up with bad chemical burns within minutes of wearing.
I used Luvs for both one of my kids had allergy to pampers and the other two both so we had to use luvs because they would get a really bad rash... and i will use luvs for this any again because I’m not sure if I want to risk it and go threw the same as i did with my other two..
We will most likely be using just pamper swaddlers for the first few months then change to a cheaper brand like luvs or target brand.
My son would pee through pampers so I switched to huggies for new born stage and then went to luvs after that. I’m having a girl this time and I’ll just go with huggies and then luvs. We’ll see what happens when she’s actually here lol
It’ll be all depending on baby. It’s safe to get small packs of every brand both newborn and size 1.
Personally my son is not so sensitive when it comes to diapers. At the same time I know a lot of babies who get chemical reactions and rashes to different brands of diapers. We use LUVS. But for wipes we have to use sensitive. But yeah they all perform pretty well! My son is a heavy wetter so up and up isn’t really for us as it doesn’t hold enough pee.
My household uses only huggies
I think Pampers Swaddlers are the best for babies, they really are so soft. But I know they are expensive. You get 20% off if you are Amazon Prime which is what we do.
Once my little guy was sleeping through the night we started using Huggies Overnights because he was peeing through his jammies (stomach sleeper + boy is hard).
We also switched to Pampers Cruisers when he started walking. I love Pampers, my little guy has sensitive skin and they smell less baby powdery than the others IMO.
It depends on the baby. I've heard that huggies have more concentrated absorbency in the front so they're better for boys and pampers have more all over absorbency so they're better for girls. However my daughter can't use pampers because she's allergic to them so she uses huggies and luvs, the off brand huggies makes. My son never used huggies always pampers and was allergic to luvs. as an off brand that i used for my son, i used white cloud and parents choice for him. My daughter is allergic to parents choice and i have been afraid to try white cloud.
When tax refund time comes I'm going to put several hundred dollars on a prepaid gift card and that will be me stocking up for baby. Last time i stocked up on parents choice my daughter ended up being allergic to them and i had to exchange them for the more expensive brands and wasn't prepared to pay the difference in price for the same amount of diapers. I say do what I'm going to do and buy little packs or use those you have been given to find the one that works best for your baby and you before buying big amounts of any of them.
I used to prefer Huggies little movers for my first daughter as well. They fit her better than pampers or luvs. I think it all just depends on the baby and their size, etc.
We use Huggies little movers for my daughter but we used to use luvs. We have purchased 2 packages of luvs for my little man on the way. My oldest couldn't use anything but huggies he would break out in anything else.
