Pissed!! So imma have to rant. ??
I had an appointment today at 10:10am I called them and told them I was gonna be a little late Bc I live all the way across town and there was BIG traffic today , there was a cimia truck flipped over in the middle of the road, bless their heart...But They told me I had 15mins to get there or I'll have to reschedule it. Okay so I get there and fill my paper work out or what not and she calls me to the front and said we are gonna have to reschedule.. I said I know I got here less than 15mins . She was like your appointment was at 10:10 and you arrived at 10:26 . I said wow I'm over 1min ... she said your late 16mins so we can't see you.. I told them I was stuck in traffic before hand and after . Did that matter? Nope... so now I gotta come in Friday at 9:20am . My thing is them mfs could have squeezed me in!! The waiting room was completely empty!! So yeah I'm pissed Bc I just wasted gas! &' let me remind y'all gas is not cheap!! ?
@jen , i would have understood that but they was straight up rude to me , the moment I stepped foot in that office , Either way .. they could have let me know straight up if I was gonna be able to be seen or not. When I called them the first time , instead of them making me sit for 15mins after I got there they should have told me as soon as I told them my name that I wasn't gonna be able to be seen.. And I know for a fact that the rooms was empty Bc when I go they only bring one person back there at a time .. and the other nurses and doctors back there be clowning around goofing off . Like very unprofessional. Sitting on the tables and just being loud like it's a whole get together , So yeah I was pissed Bc I already know they was just being straight up rude and lazy about things!
Just to flip it the other way, as someone who has worked in an office... fifteen minutes doesn't seem like much, but it can throw a complete wrench into things. It doesn't take much to completely derail the schedule for the day. Squeezing someone in usually means a provider isn't getting lunch or the whole schedule is going to be off the rest of the day, affecting patients and the staff.
Plus there are lots of other ways things go awry... emergencies, unexpected sick visits... the things that have to happen. Strict appointment times are just one way the office can try to minimize the impact on everyone.
Also, unfortunately an empty waiting room doesn't equal empty exam rooms, or an empty schedule to follow.
That said, I'm surprised they didn't make an exception when you called ahead of time to tell them there was an overriding issue. When we had issues like that we would do out best to accommodate and explain there might be a wait, etc. while we tried to slip them into another slot.
@mireya I walked away and cried like a big baby not even gonna lie.. Bc I had been waiting for that day! Like I was sooo excited.
@miki GIRL , IM REALLY THINKING ABOUT IT !!! &' RIGHT !! ALL THE DANG TIME???‼️
Yeah I'm going to do that first thing Friday . They said the nurse called and said she couldn't see me Bc I was late .. so they basically said it was her call. So best believe Ms. Amy is going to get some words from me.
@emmy yeah I was , but I don't care how long I was gonna be waiting .. I wanted to be seen period!

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
Would you consider this cheating? What would you do
I need advice from a neutral stand point. Genuine advice of what you would do. Ds had his tonsils out last night. For some reason my gut about dh was not good. At night I logged into his Snapchat and saw he was talking to an old friend who he had a thing with. Last thing I was able to see was him saying it was hard to not log into those pictures and she then said she couldn't answer the phone because she was with her husband. I texted dh and a...
on the 6th October I did 2 test with 2 lines , 3rd test was clear blue digital and was positive 2-3 weeks I was waiting for a month for a midwife appointment.. so yesterday I started bleeding went today for a scan and they go to me no sac .. but can see a cyst or a sac outside the womb so therefore she did another test there and it was negative .. she said if it was positive it would have been ectopic pregnancy but because it was negative she said it's miscarriage.
Has anyone else been through...
Advice please ?
Long story... I'm getting married in April we decided no kids other than our own two and my niece And nephew as would end up more kids that adults and it would Cost so much more plus wanted parents to have a day/night to enjoy themselves. You know... the old me would've said eff them find another doctor but something similar happened to me once with my sons doctor. I was livid but remembered I had his personal phone number. (He gives it to his newborn parents also pediatric patients with health issues). I left and sent him a text message informing him of how his staff acted and asked if that was indeed his policy. Come to find out he was upset that I "skipped out" on my sons appointment because it was a very important follow up. (That's what his staff told him ?) I guess what I'm trying to say is reschedule so you have a chance to at least speak with the dr because they may not even know what their staff is doing. Express your concerns and if they side with their staff then find another OB. Chances are though with your explanation they're gonna be on your side.
