I'm doing online school for my BA and plan to continue during my entire pregnancy. The only issue I have had is getting due dates correct for assignments but I just triple check now. I haven't taken a masters level class yet so not sure how much more work is involved but I say go for it. It will probably make the last couple months fly by.

I was in the second year of my nursing degree when I got pregnant with my first. Took a years maternity and returned. On my last placement of second year I found out I was pregnant. I'm currently in the final year of my course expecting 1st March. I work part time too as well as attending lectures 5 times a week or doing 12 hour shifts.

Like pp I feel guilty about leaving my son, he now attends nursery, but it'll be worth it in the end.

I have an awesome support system and without them none of it would be achievable x

I'm in college full time. I enrolled before I got pregnant to be fair. But I started when I was 13 weeks I believe? I'm now 25 weeks and I would say just talk to your profs ASAP. If its only 2 days a week I'm sure you can manage.

School.while pregnant was easy for me. School with a newborn was a different story. Ill.be halfway through my next semester when this one arrives but all my classes are online to keep it as stress free as possible

I went back to school in Jan, found out I'm pregnant in Feb had my son in Oct graduated in Dec. I had to go to an actual classroom in the spring and my fall class was online. It's not impossible but don't overwhelm yourself taking on too many hours.

I’m honestly amazed at all of the strength from all of you, it’s truly amazing to hear from ladies who have done and still are achieving their goals whilst making a family.

Everyone except my husband has been negative about it and telling me I’m crazy and why would I burden myself whilst heavily pregnant, but I don’t think it should stop anyone who is willing and able to study.

Yes, I did it with a 1yr old and a deployed husband ?

I was pregnant for two semesters and finished my last semester with a newborn. I like to block out that time of my life because it was so tiring. I gave up any extra free time I had, but I received A's in all of my classes.

I just started my masters in September. It’s a lot of hard work but I’ve done pretty good and I’m sure you will too. With having an 18 month old, full time mom and wife and working full time I thought it would be impossible but surprisingly I was able to stay focused and finish my first semester with two A’s. It’s so worth it!

I was in nursing school when I was pregnant with my son - it was hell but worth it- since I also worked night shifts in the hospital as a tech while studying

Luckily with this pregnancy: I finished my masters in April right before getting pregnant

With my first I was going for my bachelors full-time. I found out I was pregnant, had her in December of 2013, and finished may 2015. Went straight from my bachelors to my masters and finally graduated in May of 2017 ?? and got pregnant wth this one almost instantly ?❤️ it wasn't easy but SO SO worth it!!!

I'm doing a uni degree whilst pregnant and will be carrying on right the way through! I've got about 2 years yet before I graduate. It's hard some days because tiredness effects motivation and I swear brain fog is a thing!!! ? but it is achievable! ? xxx

Currently in college and it's been a bit stressful. I have 2 classes every week, discussions, assignemts, assessments, etc. We are on a little break but I know things will be hectic when I go back next week.

I feel if the university is so accommodating and seems like the hours you have to be there aren't many just take advantage of that. I wish you luck and strength. ?

Has anyone ever started a course whilst heavily pregnant?

I’m considering doing my masters that starts in January I’ll be 30 weeks by then, it is mostly coursework/assignments and attending two days a week.

Has anyone experienced, or think it’s a bit much? The university is very helpful with time off and studying from home.
