I totally understand. My husband is already panicking of how we are going to pay the mortgage & everything else. I was planning on saving money, these next few months, didn’t expect yesterday to be my last work day. We just have to think 1day at a time, but absolutely stressful.

I’m in the same situation and don’t have any paid anything and couldn’t get the short term disability either so I’m screwed on money and had to even ask for help with rent this month because of it. Super stressful. :/

They didn’t approve me for short term disability because I was pregnant prior to the enrollment period. So I don’t have that at all. Maternity leave yes , but at my job it’s 12 weeks with no pay, and i will be gone for 5 months. I’m allowed to return to work 8 weeks after I deliver. Most likely I will be using my 3 weeks paid vacation & personal all at once. Bed rest is horrible, but it’s for the best for mine & her health.

How do you deal with bed rest and work? I had bed rest due to preeclampsia with my first, but can work from home so it never was a big deal. Do you use short term disability? Or maternity leave?

That is a sweet elephant. Sorry about bed rest. Yay for seeing baby.
