Im from Belfast in Ireland , unfortunately thanksgiving isn’t a traditional holiday over here! Lucky you, a day off work doin nothin & loads of food sounds brill ? But my other half & his friends had a thanksgiving/NFL thing they decided to do for fun this year where they watched fball & stuffed their faces, they all love NFL x

We don't have it in Australia (it's only in the US, right?) and it must be difficult! We don't tend to make a really big deal of Halloween, so it sounds exhausting for the US to have Halloween in October, thanksgiving in November, Christmas in December, then new year right after! For us it's really just Christmas and new year, though where I live we have the Melbourne Cup holiday in early November (massive horse race, lots of people get dressed up and go to the races and almost everyone has a bet), and in late september we have a day off for the AFL (Australian football league) grand final. But it's not like you decorate the house and have a huge home cooked meal for those.

We have it in Canada, but we have it the second weekend in October. So I'm still jealous even though we've already have ours ?
