Induction Any ftm that has been induced and laboured less than 24 hours?

Yep. Gel at about 8am, waters broke 10 minutes later. Drip started at about 9 and had DD at 7.22pm

I was induced with my first at 41weeks. Drip in at 8am, 8cm dilated at 10am baby born via section at 10:15am due to heart decelerations. Had my next naturally at 38weeks in 3 hrs from first contraction to delivered. I think it all depends on how your body goes. I labor fast some people labor slower.

How are you going now? I'm being induced on the 20th for the first time so no idea what process is

I've had the gel in for almost 6 hours. Due for another round soon and still no pain!

I had one lot of gel put in at 7pm and I was only 1 to 2 cms dilated. Contractions started quickly and baby was born at 0333.

Personally I think it depends on how ready your body is to have a baby. I was 10 days overdue and I just needed the gel to kick start things

Balloon catheter at 6:30pm had baby next day at 5:41pm induced at 37 weeks though for iugr

Waters broken and drip started at 5.45pm was holding my baby at 1.40am nye ? great end to a year

I was induced at 40+4 they put the gel in at about 10pm (ob had an emergency before). I was to go on the drip in the morning but I was already 8cm by 5:00am and delivered at 10:02am. My waters only broke when I was pushing.

I was induced and from my first contraction to delivery was 4 hours and 7 minutes. My waters had broken, but hadn't gone into labour which is why I was induced

Three times! 12hrs, next was 4 hrs and the following was 12 hours plus emergency c section

I got induced with my first i had him in 4and a half hours. My last I went into Labour naturally and was 1hour and 10 mins so I'm very nervous with this one (:

I had the drip put in around 10:30-11am, dd was born 12:28am.

My labour progressed really slowly until I had the epi, which relaxed me and it flew by.

The gel did absolutely nothing for me.

Me! from start to finish 3hrs, and that's with an epidural which I was warned "might slow things down" waters broken and pictocin given at 930, baby arrived at 12:35. I was 4cms dilated to begin with though... I think that's the trick, to have already started a bit!

Gels went in around 9pm then 4am. No contractions til 7am and gave birth at 7pm.

First labour 3.5 hours :-)

Yep was induced and had my first 6 hours later.

Me. My first baby was induced and lasted 15 hours from time drip started to holding him.

And my last baby was 7 hours from time drip started to holding him :)

Me! I was induced at 9.30 Thursday with the gel and then had it again at 7am and went into labour at 2pm and gave birth at 8.41pm Friday
