Waters braking Hi ladies, if your waters broke on their own, where were you when it happened?

Standing at the kitchen bench! My daughter gave an almighty kick and then there was a gushing feeling!

Mine broke while I was yelling at my partner while he was setting up the cot because he was getting it all wrong. Haha. Maybe the stress did it?

Both in hospital and at the very end of labour. 15 minutes before I gave birth to my daughter and then 9 minutes before I gave birth to my son.

Cleaning at home. Happened at about 1pm.

Woke up at 4am to it gushing out it in my bed

With my first I was at home they didn't pop just felt a trickle while I was walking around and it continued through out the night. Second and third they popped while I was pushing.

With my first two they popped during labour at the hospital and with my third I was on the way to the hospital with bad contractions and my sister was like your waters better not pop in my car I will kill you!! Thankfully they popped in the elevator in the hospital whoever used the elevator after me was going to think wth is that puddle on the floor lol

I was at the hospital already in labour. Didn't think I was so far into it but I was leaning on the edge of the bed while my partner was pushing his fingers into my spine (back labour, ouchie!) when I felt like i had to stand up. When I did they burst. I don't remember hearing a pop I just remember the gush of fluid.

In the car ? about 10 minutes before having number 2... Just made it into the hospital.. Like just.

At my parents place all my family was there and I went to the other room and hubby sat next to me heard the "pop sound " and it gushed out and contractions started had a shower and went to hospital , 20 mins later I had my second daughter!!! Lol

Was lying in bed, opened legs to get pillow out from between my knees and felt a gushing sensation, yes my waters broke like they do in the movies. I jumped out of bed and it just kept pouring out. It was not a pleasant feeling at all.

I have never heard a pop! Ds1 waters slowly leaked. ds2 waters broke (no pop tho...I feel left out lol) I was playing solitaire on the laptop on the couch and I just felt tightness then woosh a flood, luckily saved the computer and the couch was leather, stood up and water running down my legs, then every time I had a Braxton hicks or non painful pre labour tightening the waters would gush again they did this for a good 4 hours while in hosp too i was surprised how much fluid is actually in there!! Heaps!

My ex was drunk so I had to drive myself to hospital hard to drive with water gushing!! I can never forget the smell it was not pleasant

At the hospital, after a boiling bath laying on the bed. POP, and I was drenched ahah. It was so loud and warm and my partner couldn't believe how loud it was and how soaked I was so we both just started laughing hahah :)

It was the morning of my planned c section and I was laying in bed and felt like I needed to pee so I got up and woosh out came a flood of water! It was so much that I kept going to the toilet to let it out as it kept gushing. I would put on two maternity pads and leak through them quicker then I put them on lol my baby was breech so I've heard you have more water for some reason? That was 8am and I didn't feel anything till about 12 and it was only tiny niggles so they bumped me up the list hehe

Just finished cleaning my house like a crazy woman sat down & thought I might go to bed now then pop they broke on the lounge lol

My little man was born 5 hours later.

I was at the hospital. As I got out of the birthing bath I had a massive contraction, squatted and as I did there was a big splat of waters and blood. After she came out all the rest of the water gushed out behind her. Yuck!

I was at hospital in the middle of bad contractions and I told the midwife I needed to pee so starting walking to the bathroom... then they broke... I was like no it's ok I don't need to pee false alarm its just my waters breaking

I had just got to the hospital, jumped up on the bed and they broke everywhere ?

The more I laughed, the more it came out everywhere ?

I was in bed, first thing in the morning... 2 seconds after I woke up, i felt a pop and told my husband to run and grab towels. I was able to make it to the bathroom without making a mess lol

With dd1 had been having contractions for 2 hours and was sitting on the couch then in the middle of a contraction I felt a pop and went to stand and could feel the water running

Dd2 had to have my waters broken

I was in bed on my phone, asked hubby what the time was, it was 12am on the dot. I got up to pee and I felt and heard a clear "pop" sound happened, then bam lol water all over the carpet ?

DS1 it's was in the arvo I just got out of the car and was a continuous leak for hours

DS2 it was after 1am, my dog barked so i checked her and done a wee, just got back in bed comfy and it "popped" massive gush of warm water ?

I was at home lying on the lounge and heard a pop and said to hubby I kind of felt like I felt something but didn't know what it was.

Then when I stood up warm liquid started coming out and I knew it wasn't me peeing ?

With dd I felt like a popping sensation in my vajayjay as I sat down and thought I was going to pee myself so ran to the toilet and nothing really came out so I went back to lounge room and went to sit down again and it just came gushing out like a freaking waterfall lol & then my contractions started. With DS o already had contractions and had just got to hospital when I sat down in the waiting room and my waters broke, this time o just felt saturated but it was leaking slowly not gushing out!

It felt like a rubberband snapping

My broke in bed. And yes i did feel and hear the pop

They pop? Does it make a noise :o I'm a ftm and have no idea haha

With my older 2 they were popped at the hospital with my 3rd was cooking tea and I'd sat down at the table for a minute stood up and felt the warm down my leg honestly thought I'd peed myself ?

First heard popping noises while on my hospital bed and then went up to go bathroom thinking I needed do pee, so I did and then when I finished and got up I felt hot water trickling down. Called the nurse right away lol and she checked and as she checked it broke a lot more lol
