Anyone still back sleeping?

I have no choice but to sleep on my back at the moment. I broke my ankle falling down my moms stairs and it’s the only position my ankle will stop throbbing in to be able to get any sleep.

I belly sleep, never used to before pregnant now I can't get out of it, I think my midwife said up to 20 something weeks you can sleep how you like that's comfortable for you x

i dont worry about it in the 1st trimester, only when youre big can it cause circulation issues

It's fine until you're bigger.

It doesn’t really matter until you’re in your third trimester when the weight of the uterus will decrease blood flow in your abdominal blood vessels. Could leave you to be pretty light headed and also decreases blood flow to the placenta which can cause distress in the baby.

I hope so! My sides are uncomfortable to sleep on which I guess is normal for pregnancy because i've never been a back sleeper.

I'll ask my dr. next month on the 5th but for now I googled and it won't give me an answer as to when to stop but rather note women who mc'ed said they had slept on their backs ??

I was wondering if this was okay also! I wake up on my back pretty often and get nervous !

It's supposed to be fine til 20 weeks I thought. I still do from time to time. I prefer my side.
