How long did y’all wait to get some loving 😂 6 weeks seems long cause I haven’t been in pain for a few weeks...
You see, when you have a baby- vaginally or a c-section... the placenta leaves a gaping wound when it detaches from your uterus. Not bleeding simply means it has clotted, not necessarily that it has healed. They say nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks because that gaping wound typically takes 6 weeks to heal. Otherwise you can get an infection, scar tissue, cause infertility and worse. Worth a little d to risk your uterus altogether?!?
I waited two weeks. I had a c section though. But if you feel up to it. He’s gentle and you don’t have stitches or anything I don’t see a problem. I would use condoms tho.
@raelene_g, I’m 3 weeks and a couple days pp me n hubby wanna try but I’m a little nervous
I went longer than 6 weeks because I was tired and sex was the furthest thing from my mind 🤷🏽♀️ I had a colicky baby and I was tired
@raelene_g, I mean I’m sure you can take precautions. I’m still toying with the idea of waiting or not. 😅
@mombie., 3 weeks seems appropriate lol I don’t want to keep waiting
@raelene_g very minor superficial tears. One stitch
@newlyironman, were you still sore before hand ?
@littleonemorning, lol that’s true, I need a few years before I get pregnant again 🤦🏻♀️
8 weeks the first time 2or3 weeks the second time I can’t remember
I wait the six weeks just because I can’t handle the risk of getting pregnant again 😂😂 considering otherwise this time.

How long is your hair?
Short Luteal Phase2
A new post for katie058 and hopefully bcappel soontoo, as ours got too long!
So I know that In the Latino culture you’re suppose to wait the 6 weeks (quarentena) to be able to have sex again. I’m currently at 5 weeks and I cheated and had sex last night! It had been too long! Did any of u do it before the 6 weeks?
So do you really have to wait 6 weeks to have sex after labor or is 4 weeks long enough??😅😅😅😫😫😫

34 WeeKs today! 6 weeks to go.. that is, if she stays in there that long! 🤞
@laniejay Exactly how I feel!! In my opinion, women aren't educated as to the 'Why' to waiting the 6 weeks.. Most hospitals don't educate you as to why it's so important to wait the 6 weeks. I waited 12 weeks with my first and 10 weeks with my second. It wasn't easy, but I'd rather not risk anything!
