How many baths are you drawing for baby?

I do a bath every other day even though he isn't too keen still.

Honestly ppl on social media need to get a damn grip. If you use non drying soap and lotion after he will be fine. I always bathed my kids every other day and all 4 turned out just fine. It's your baby and your way of things.

I follow the NICU bathing routine. He baths every second day with mild soap and a massage with lotion after.

We haven't bathed our week old babe yet but once we do, it'll probably be about once or twice a week at first. I'm sure your baby is fine as you know what signs to look for if bathing him the way you are ever becomes a problem for him.

We do every 3 days and use baby soap (aveeno).

My 5 week old gets a bath every night. A bath, bottle & he's out like a light.

Every other day here! That's what's recommended in France! And after every bath, Shea butter and a cream cold "liniment oleo-calcaire" on her whole body! No dry skin and she is now 3 weeks old!

I think it depends on preference and your baby? I give my 4 week old a bath every night as well as my two year old. I started a strict bedtime schedule and a warm bath helps both of them pass out so my dh and I can have our time lol

Thanks ladies! I thought I was doing something drastic and felt a bit bad, but of course mommy instincts tell me its all fine and purely that is what I mostly go by before anyone's opinions but I had to be sure! ?☺️ the only thing that worries me is getting water in his ears.. Currently i'm going through a little bit of swimmers ear. The soap I use is locally made and baby safe + it has coconut oil in it.. Also idk what i'd do without baths since its so humid and sticky here, i've only had to put jojoba oil on his lips once from all the chapping breastfeeding is doing.

I think it's your choice. My baby baths everyday which I think is a bit much too but my mom insists

I haven't given him a full bath. He is 12 days old, just sponge baths. Once I do start giving him baths in the tub o will do so 2xs a week and sponge baths in between, after baths I use lotion to moisturize his skin so he doesn't get dried out. I use Cetaphil Baby, CeraVe baby, or SheaMoisture Baby products. My son has sensitive skin and any other products breaks his skin out.

My son is 2 weeks and I haven't given him a real bath yet. I wash him up a little in the bathroom sink every other day. He loves the water. I oil him up everyday with Shea Moisture baby products

We do about once a week. Unless baby starts to smell like spit up or has a diaper blow out.

I do every two or three days. No soap just a warm water bath. I use soap on his hair maybe once a week. Then he gets loaded with coconut oil after.

I was doing once or twice a week. Now I'm gonna start doing every other day, because her hair gets very oily fast and she spits up.

One a week

With my first, I listened to my mom and everyone else telling me to bathe her everyday. Well she ended up with really dry skin and severe eczema so this time I'm not making the same mistake. I give her a bath once, maybe twice a week but I do wipe her down before bed and sometimes in the morning.

We do once or twice a week. Basically once he starts to smell like spoiled milk. ??? and we use a mild baby soap. I put a lotion the doctor gave if he gets dry spots.

Your baby your decision!! Your the mom & only you know what's best for him.. For my babies I give them a sponge bath just Untill the umbilical cord falls out.. ?

I googled it also lol!,... I bathe my two week old two times a week and she is as happy as can be, I can't imagine not bathing her at least once a week because if they spit up or puke they start getting a little odor plus my little girl sleeps very well and content after she is bathe
