Newborn dark to blue eyes

My girl was born with dark dark blue eyes and now they're like and icey blue/green!

Edit: they didn't stop changing color until she was over a year old.

Oooh hard 2 remember exactly but by around 3ish months i think

My nieces eyes were greyish brown but now they are straight dark brown. My son's eyes were greyish blue now they are bright blue (he's 1) I have hazel eyes my husband has blue.

I'm to understand they have until age 6 to be called a permanent eye color.

But I think it's rare to change that late.

My baby had dark blue then they brightened up. My grandma kept saying they would turn brown. He's five now and his eyes are still blue.

My SO and my Dad both have blue eyes so its on both sides of the family

Yea both my girls had dark grey eyes when born but now their both peircing blue ?

My DS has grayish brown. Wondering if they can turn blue or green from that?

My family runs blue eyes strong and my DH mostly brown but his grandpa had blue eyes.

Yes. My pediatrician told us that babies eye color can take up to a year to stop changing. Our DD had dark blue eyes at birth. Now has green eyes. She's 20 months.

Yes it is. Babies tend to be born with dark blackish gray eyes and they can lighten to be blue. That's the case for my children. My nephews though are born with brown eyes and continue to have brown eyes
