A bit confusing BH How many BH in an hour is normal?

My doctor said if I had more than 6 in 1 hour then call.

? well I have an appointment tomorrow but for the past couple nights and this morning its been 7-6

Talk to your doctor about it in the morning. If they are going away when you change positions then they are definitely Braxton hicks.

Laying down positions no but getting up moving/keeping busy for more then 10mins i notice it subsides, but laying back down spells them back up for sure. Been having some other symptoms too but everywhere I look seems like its pretty normal.

I get them from 7pm -10 pm every night like clock work. A few during the day. But nothing like at night. They are a nice reminder I'm nearing the end.

My doctor told me that any amount was normal (I was having 10-12 an hour), as long as they didn't last for more than an hour and a half.

I'm getting them at night too. I beleive they are BH anyways. Last night they were steady for over and hour and they were 10 min apart, getting closer together til they were about 7 min apart. I was starting to get a little worried. I laid down to go to bed, then had a few more if I wasn't on my left side. And they went away.

Hmm i'll be interested in what my doctor will say then. A couple weeks ago I was sent home with paper work saying if they were lasting 30-90 secs, more painful then just cramps and very close together then go in.

Update: my doctor didn't seem too interested in how many etc. basically "you'll KNOW when you go into labor" ? um okie dok then!

Omg I hate when you get that response. Obviously you will know but there is nothing wrong with being curious if labours beginning. ? some doctors.

? me too. Some women give birth accidentally at home or don't even know they've been contracting.. I know my body so I'm not too worried but at the same time I have a high pain tolerance. Ahh ok I will just let fate take over and breathe ??
