U/s scan every visit
Since I currently have a tilted uterus, will I receive an ultrasound every visit to check heart beat until my uterus comes out? I have a physical on the 19th, just wondering if they'll do that too.

Idk if a tilted uterus is something to actually worry about or if it makes u high risk. I only get weekly scans because Im high risk and also I paid good money to my dr for his special care. U should obviously ask dr.

I have a tipped uterus(backward) and I am not considered high risk. They use the fetal Doppler to check the heart rate every time but not an ultrasound.

I have tilted uterus and it's not even something they talk about.

It's not a big deal because it's so common. I also have it.

Nope probably not

Dr. Is on vacation until November until then i get to see the midwife ? she rides off my concerns as nothing and doesn't listen well. But thanks girls- I understand it not high risk, just the fact they can't hear a beat through the doppler on me, made me curious what they would do then. Didn't think to ask last visit.

I have a retroverted uterus and never had to get extra scans.

It depends how far along you are! They use the Doppler around 8-10 weeks. I also have a tilted uterus and they used an ultra sound machine until week 14 when the Doppler started picking up the heart beat:)

I don't think so? You wouldn't really be at high risk. I have a heartshaped uterus and have to get ultrasounds all the time.

Currently 13w and i'll be almost 14w next visit. It was last week at 12 they couldn't find a beat on the doppler pp

They couldn't hear my sons heartbeat on the doopler until I was 20 weeks because of my uterus, which made them nervous so they did an ultrasound almost every time.

mine is tilted waaay weird and they don't even worry about it.

Okay maybe i should make this next question into another post but any of you ladies ever experience not being able to pee with your tilted uterus and had to see dr. to get it moved? I sometimes have to pee badly but all that comes out is a steady trickle ??
