Depends for days 1 & 2. Then mesh panties and jumbo pads for a couple of days. Then just regular heavy flow pads. I was done bleeding by 3 weeks post party’s with my two previous babies. Some women go all 6 weeks. :/

They gave me disposable mesh underwear, and ice packs to insert (much needed if you have a tear with stitches) and I brought a nightgown. Because the nurses came into my room to check out my stitches every so often. This time I packed a nightgown and pjs with pants, and a robe.

After my first pregnancy ended in a pretty horrific miscarriage I just did Depends with my 2 yr old. Pp bleeding wasn't quite as bad as that miscarriage but it definitely was easier and actually more comfy than pads. Tbh, I just continued wearing my maternity clothes. In fact I wore maternity clothes for quite a while after. They're comfier and more forgiving than most other things. With the depends I feel like no pme could really tell and its not like I'm going too far while I'm wearing those anyways.

I used the always ultra thin pads and you couldn’t really tell. They were way more comfortable than the thick ones and just as absorbent. Did buy cheapie granny panties to wear during the first few weeks!

Those huge nighttime pads that come wrapped in purple wrapper I forget the brand. Life saver!

Definitely granny panties and I always wear pajama pants so people can’t see my big pad I’m wearing. I think yoga pants are too tight to my body I like to just be comfy

I packed depends this time for in the hospital. Those giant pads were so uncomfortable and I feel like I was constantly having to change clothes and underwear’s due to spillage. I also packed some cold and hot boob pads. 2nd time run I’m changing things up! Whatever is easy to breast feed in is definitely best or else you will be exposed for your whole stay at the hospital. I also packed a robe so I can easily cover up for visitors.

I really liked the gauzy undies they gave me at the hospital for the first couple of days. Beyond that, ours like the others said: pj/yoga pants and stretchy undies. On top I like nursing tops.

Whatever you wore during pregnancy lol.

Pajama/ yoga pants and a nursing tank. Maternity panties are great too! I didn't really have a bloody mess with my son so I don't know how bad it can get but the hospital will provide mesh granny panties and pads if needed.

I liked granny panties with loose fitting PJ pants...I actually just used baby's diapers, opened the velcrow end like a bag of chips. Filled with crushed ice. Folded it over and velcrowed the ice in and used it as a padsicle...soaked up the blood and melted ice while icing my lady parts and I could change them as often as I wanted because I didn't need to make them in advance...

Old clothes. Undies you dont care about throwing away. Pads. And at times, depends...
