Amoxicillin
Has any mommies had to take amoxicillin while pregnant? It makes me so nervous I didn’t want to have to take any kind of medicine while pregnant but came down with a really bad ear infection and just want to make sure it’s ok. I have to take 3 times a day and it’s a 500mg is that ok for me to take at 28 weeks?
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
Has anyone else had any drs try to prescribe them Zofran while pregnant?? With all I have heard, I don't want to take it. Have any of you taken it while pregnant?
Ok, so my friend is wanting to get pregnant but..... Her fiancé does not want kids, at lease for another 3-5 years he said... so she came up with the idea to have me pee on a stick for her and show it to him so that he’ll be comfortable with not wearing a condom and finishing in her.. basically the whole idea is to make him think she’s pregnant already...... so I do this favor for her or should I tell my girl to chill? He and my husband are friends through us and he’s going to invite him over tonight and run it by him...
I want to cry because yesterday late afternoon when I went to the hospital I was having contractions but not as near as they want me to be but when I was home there were coming in and they send me home and now I have pain so bad like I am literally almost crying it’s not fare I took 2 Tylenol before I went to bed and drank water and I took a warm bath and noting make it any better
Has anyone had to take amoxicillin for a uti while pregnant ? I started taking it and now been having extreme back pain that feels like a kidney infection :( they switched me to Cephalexin but in the mean time I guess I’m just worried.

I’m sure it’s safer to take at 28 weeks than it was when I unfortunately had to take it - I had to take it week 12-15 or so for a severe pneumonia. Yes i remember having consulted 2-3 physicians before taking it and they all cleared it. Mine was also 3x per day from what I can recall

I really hope you feel better soon! But make sure that your ob is the one who prescribed it. I’ve found that other specialists know little to nothing about pregnancy...

i’ve had to take amoxicillin twice now, it’s perfectly safe! Midwife told me that it’s actually an antibiotic they give to sick babies so it will do no harm to baby!
