I don't have any advice because I've never experienced any of that. But you and baby will be in my prayers. I hope all goes well with your pregnancy and try to be positive❤
I know my story is a lot different but I had placenta abruption with my twins at 34wks had an emergency csection. They were ivf babies when we went in for our fet this time I was concerned about putting 2 ice babies in. He said just because I had it the first time it didn’t raise my chances for it to happen again total fluke even if I got pregnant with twins again if anything chances are lowered because I’m already all stretched out this go round like I said I know a lot different than yours but figured I’d share Incase it helped
Jo - thanks for your response. I also am carrying an IVF baby and my RE said that the chances were increased.. I don’t know if it is because of what they saw at my daughter’s autopsy... (18.5w loss) they found that a small portion of the placenta was beginning to die but didn’t name that as cause of death. With my 12w loss I didn’t have a chance to have anything tested because I had a D and C and the hospital said that since it was a 1st trimester miscarriage they wouldn’t do any testing. With my son the abruption was noted at 20w and I was followed by weekly NSTs after that. We made it to 38+1 before he came naturally.
I haven’t had a placental abruption but my water did break and sent me into preterm labor last year with my son at 17weeks. I still don’t know why it happened but I hope and pray that everything works out for you. I hope you carry your little baby to term! ❤️
I had a placental abruption with my 4th Pregnancy @18w with my twin boys & I delivered them stillborn. I have not had another Pregnancy like this one since & this is now baby#10 but 15th Pregnancy.. GoodLuck
Thanks. I just talked to my OB and she told me my chances are only “slightly increased” for having another. She says I’m too early to be currently experiencing one and wants me to come in for another eval. I’m not actively bleeding but still having cramps here and there.
Hi mama sorry to hear you've had such a rough time with your pregnancies. I never experienced what your going through before. But I will keep you an baby in my prayers.
I have never experienced this myself but my mum did with my sister before me and she gave birth to my sister 6weeks premi. My mum hemorraged and was told not to have anymore kids. My sister was only 3pounds born. My mum then went on to have me 5yrs later and it was a drama free pregnancy. I came at full time. So I’m hoping it’s a story to show you not all pregnancies are the same. Each one is different. Not all the same outcomes. I will definitely keep you and your little one in my prayers tho cos it must be scary not knowing and having been through it before. Much love and lots of positive vibes coming your way ??❤️

Thanks for the story Kal!! I appreciate it. I’m glad your mom had a drama free pregnancy! I hope I don’t experience it with this pregnancy now.
