After all that stress, found baby's heartbeat right away today! But I have decided that if I don't find the heartbeat, I wont stress out. Will just wait to try the next day. Found baby in the same spot that the midwife found him/her yesterday.

I'm 12 weeks and at my appointment last week (11 weeks) doc had a hard time finding baby she used the Doppler and couldn't find it and then the portable ultrasound and still couldn't. She had to use the vaginal want to find baby because he buried himself so far in pelvic area. Some days he's high and others he just doesn't wanna be found or messed with. Glad to here ur midwife found baby though what a scare

My doctor gave me one of her doplers around week 11, I couldn't find HB until almost 13 weeks.

I was thinking about buying one but maybe I shouldn't ?. I would be going nuts if I couldn't find the heartbeat.

I am 14w today.

Awe so glad you went in and even more happy she found it!! My midwife told me to stay clear of the Doppler and if I ever wanted to just make sure to set an appointment up ? she knows how crazy I would be with it. Yeah until they are bigger it's better to wait.
