13w and no weight gain
Hello mommies, I started out overweight, nearly obese. My start weight was 166 and I am 5'3". I have not gained any weight so far, at 13w4d. Does that mean that I actually lost some weight and baby gained all that weight? Well, I know that the baby is too tiny for weight gain but then the blood,placenta,uterus etc have gained weight but I have lost some?
With my first pregnancy I gained 14 lbs total. 10 of it wasn't until the last 2 months. I wouldn't worry about it as long as your dr isn't and the baby is growing good. My daughter was also very healthy at birth at 6lb 15oz. Everyone's pregnancy is different
I'm 13w2d. Overweight/borderline obese pre preg. I've lost about a kg in the last 3mths. Perfectly normal. For me.
This is my 3rd boy. My hubby & my brother are both well over 6ft & both have crazy fast metabolisms. When I'm preg, i seem to 'inherit' that metabolism. I can't eat enough - esp carbs - I gain v.little weight, & my babies are born looonnng and slim.
I lose weight steadily after birth, despite still carb loading. The fast metabolism lasts until i stop breastfeeding... then i need to remember to massively dial back the food intake, otherwise I pork up again ?
Normal! I didnt gain when I was pregnant with my son until almost 18 weeks. The baby is still VERY small right now, so they don't weigh much!
I am not concerned about not gaining weight either, I am also trying to reduce snacking. Looks like baby is fine at ultrasounds I have had so far. So I will be happy to gain lesser weight since I should only gain under 15lbs.
I started at 180. And had my 16 week appointment this morning. I am 173.8. I have been making more cautious decisions on my food choices and stopped snacking out of boredom. It think this helped. My OB is happy where I am at so I am not concerned. Baby measures perfect and right on track.
Im same height 14w i have lost 4 lbs had an ultra sound yesterday baby weights 3oz.
I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and have only gained 1 pound and this is my 4th healthy baby. I definitely look bigger but the scales don't say so.
No change in weight is normal, you really notice significant weight gain further a long. I for one was so sick I lost weight, but at 17 week I think I'm starting to gain.

ok 2nd baby in 7 years. when did everybody start to gain weight. I will be 20 weeks Friday and have only gained 3 pounds of the 5 I have lost. I have a belly already and can feel the baby but still can't gain weight.
What do you mommas recommend for weight gain in a toddler? My son just had surgery and lost a lot of weight so i wanna help him gain some weight.

I have a question y'all. What are some typical symptoms of being pregnant other than the obvious nausea and weight gain??

Savannah, did you have lesser weight to lose after the baby? Since you only gained 14lbs and half of that was baby+placenta.
