Has anyone has what looks to be an empty sac at just over or around 6 weeks? I was 6 +2 yesterday and I was told they can only see an empty sac, does anyone have stories of any good outcomes? I have a scan in another week at 7 +2 . I had my hcg drawn and it was at 4,300, it was at 171 17days before that so I make that an increase of only about 50% every 48hours. Any advice would be great, it doesn't sound too good. She said the sac looked healthy, didn't say how far it measured, I also have a retroverted uterus which I know from reading can make scans more difficult xx

They didn't test it at the time of the 6 week scan. But at 4 weeks it doubled ok. It's just a horrible waiting game in early pregnancy. I'm really hoping you get to see something positive on your next scan

I had a scan at 6 weeks. They said the sac had grown but they couldn't see a viable pregnancy. So no baby inside. I went back on Friday just gone and there was my baby with a healthy heartbeat. Im 8 + 1 today. Sometimes you just need to give it a bit of time to grow. Fx that you see everything next time. Good luck. Try not to stress xxx
