Where to move We are looking to own our first home and was wondering, which state/city/town is best to raise a family…

Universal city, Texas. It's right next to the big city San Antonio but it's a little smaller and more of a community. Not to mention houses are cheap in Texas right now.

lived in California but moved to Idaho because it's a million times more affordable ??????

I live in oregon and love it. Almost every city is worth it. I lived in salem for 5 years and currently live in medford. Both awesome city's.

Don't come to California. It's so expensive here. ?

Alabama!!(: it has beautiful scenery, great cities or small towns, laid back people, and good schools(:

Nebraska! I live in Bellevue/Papillion and it's a nice area

I live in a tiny town in Iowa. I was born and raised here and wouldn't raise my kids anywhere else. I love my neighbors too much to leave. It's really affordable here.

I'm in California and alot of our friends are moving to Oregon, Idaho, Arizona etc. Idk how it is raising children in these places as I'm a FTM but I know they have been happy with the changes and have upgraded as far as living situation bc it's alot more affordable where they are. Bc of the move some of them even have their own homes bigger and with pools. I hope to do this someday too

I just moved from Huntsville, AL and it's supposedly one of the best places to raise a family. It's full of engineers, so people from all over. There isn't a lot to do there so for me, I decided to leave. It's grown a ton over the past 10 years or so and is still growing like crazy. I say grown as in a lot more businesses and houses and stuff. I moved there in 1997 and it was still quite pitiful back then. And the cost of living isn't bad at all. I'm in Lexington, KY now and pay close to what I was paying back in Alabama but for a much smaller place. For me personally, no, but everyone there loves it and you may too.

Nebraska. I think it's one of the best states to raise a family. And no, it's not all cornfields ... We actually have cities with buildings and apartments. Lol

I live in SC. It is much more affordable than where I grew up in VA. But if looking for a house, look up crime rates and school ratings are important to me. Also somewhere close to hubby's work is good too!
