Ideas for gender reveal party

The idea that I plan to do is using a cake. We are going to plan a small, intimite dinner for a few people, including mom and dad and have someone order a cake with the filling being blue/pink or the decorations showing off the gender.

Pinterest has some great ideas!

We handed out silly string, all blue but used mixed lids... and on 3 sprayed :) I told hubby with a little brother onsie when I came back from the doc :) he had to stay home to watch our other kiddo

My favorite thing we did for our gender reveal party is we bought a signature mat. It's matted for a 5x7 picture then a cheap poster frame and had everyone who was at the party sign their name in pink or blue if they thought it was a boy or a girl. Then we put 2 of our favorite ultrasound pictures in the opening. It's a great keep sake. We are hanging it in his room. I don't suggest buying anything from party city. They are crazy expensive. My friend made our cake. If you have someone who can do something like that it'll keep cost down too. Or even cupcakes. Dollar store has cheap table covers and confetti. We just used normal paper plates and napkins because it's crazy to spend $1 on 8 plates

We're doing a piñata filled with confetti and glitter either blue or pink! But we're doing a small gender reveal with just my boyfriends family and a couple friends and some kiddos!
