I'm not freaking out per say, but I've definitely thought about when it's gonna happen. Where will I be and what time? Will my hubby be working? If so, who's gonna drive me to the hospital (50 minutes away) etc. Ftm here as well. I think it's perfectly normal to be nervous :)

I have an extremely low tolerance for pain, so I constantly freak out. I just want to get it over with

Honestly even my long labor seems so fast looking back. You will remember the details but not so much the pain. If you want the epidural, get it! It helps!!!

To be honest, yes. This is my third so you'd think I'd have the hang of it ;)
My first two labors were quite fast (1.5hrs and 30mins). My first had a very short cord around his neck, and second had shoulder distocia.
I'm just trying to tell myself to trust in my body and midwives.
We can do this!

Yes I'm terrified. This is my first baby and I'm also doing this alone as my boyfriend left me halfway through.. I'm nervous over labor itself but also how everything is going to work out with him out of the picture.

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I always get nervous but everything will happen really quick and you'll be fine.

Can you enroll in a class? It would probably help give you tools to empower you before and during labor. Unfortunately, the more nervous you are, the more tense you are and that can make labor even more challenging. Even a class on YouTube.... There's lots of resources around. Also check with your hospital.

This is my third and I'm excited! I love my doctors and hospital and I know they have me and my baby girl in their best interests! Plus I know I always have the opinion to get an epidural if I need it lol. Ladies we r woman and we were born to give birth! We got this!

I'm having my 3rd and I'm totally anxious about how things are gonna go I've had 2 different experiences, pain and labor wise but once all done it was the best experience you could ever experience. It's going to be the best time of your life! Good luck. Don't worry.

This is my third and I've never been scared or worried about labor. I was more excited and anxious to get them out and hold them then worry about anything. Same with this one except I'm getting my tubes tied right after I deliver her naturally. I've already got the paperwork for it filled out and signed by my ob just in case I go into labor early and he doesn't deliver her, the hospital will have to tie my tubes. I'm a little worried about that since I breastfeed and won't take anything for the pain besides motrin or tylenol.

I'm really hoping for a vbac and that was kinda making me nerves but at this point in the game and the way I'm feeling I almost don't care.... c section or natural, epidural or not just get him out safely. I couldn't be any more ready.

Yep!
Ftm as well.
I'm constantly thinking what if my hubby is at work. How will I get to the hospital (also 50 min. Away) what if I can't tell the difference between Braxton hicks and real contractions.... I still don't know if I've really even had Braxton hicks. My pain tolerance is high so I'm scared of not knowing what's real and what isn't .
I'm scared of tearing and the pain associated with it afterwards.
Scared of not being ready, emotionally and financially.
Most of all I'm scared about the cord being wrapped around the neck or something. Praying for a safe and healthy delivery for both me and baby!!
Oh man. Such a crazy milestone in life coming up!!!
I'm a big ball of scared right now! But I don't let anyone know. I keep my concerns inside and pretend to be tough. HA! ?

I'm a ftm as well. I think it's normal to be freaked out! Lol! What's been helping me is watching videos of births. I really want to have a natural birth without any pain meds. Watching videos and seeing what's going to happen has helped me feel more confident that I can do this.

I'm a FTM too & I'm doing it alone because my hubby is deployed overseas so he most likely won't make it. I used to be terrified too but once I accepted it for what it is, I got over the fear. It's not like I don't know it's coming. I know it is but it is a good kind of pain that will bring my beautiful baby into the world. I'm excited honestly. August can't get here fast enough lol
