I had a D&C 7 years ago and I was awake for the whole thing. I wish I had the option to be put to sleep. I only bled for a couple days afterwards.

My miscarriage was exactly like yours. I was under general anesthesia for the d&c, I only had mild pain and bleeding for about a week. It's hard, but every day it gets a bit better. My hubby and I have been back actively trying for two months, I'm hoping this is our month now. I hope all goes well with your procedure and you heal fast. So sorry for your loss ?

I went for my 12 scan tonight and found out at 10w I miscarried. They'll call tmrw to make appointment for d&c.

Anyone ever find out what caused theirs? They said my US looked like something about intestines being on the outside... and chromosome defect. I have 2 beautiful girls. And I'm so thankful for them. But this just hurts. And I can tell my husband is equally upset, but he doesn't show it...

I got a mva procedure which is less invasive than the dnc I have only been spotting since Thursday and I feel a little better. Idk what I passed before the procedure I just pushed and flushed I never looked. I'm trying it day by day and it is hard one day I will try for another just no time soon. It will be okay ladies. I wish the best for all of us. And my procedure I was fully put to sleep and I barely remember anything besides the intake questions

I had a dnc in Nov 11th. Bled for less than a week and just barely getting my period now. 8 weeks later

I had a mmc on 1st dec (found out at 12w baby had passed at 9w) i started to bleed that nite, almost as if my body was waiting for my brain to process it, i bled for 5 days and then on the 6th day i passed the baby, i bled for about 10 days after and now ive just started spotting again x

I called told them they told me come tomorrow instead of Thursday and call back tonight if I bleed more than 1 pad an hr.

Since it started naturally today they moved it to tomorrow. To make sure I passed everything. I just want this all to be over.

You should call you doctor if you're bleeding before the D&C.

^ they will most likely scan you. That's what happened to me and I still needed the d&c as there was retained products as they called it.

My d&c is scheduled for Thursday but I started bleeding today. Now I'm over the toilet passing golf ball clots. Do I just let it past.? We they still give me a d&c even thought it started.?

Everyone's experience is different, I had a d&c in may you get put to sleep & are home the same day. I bled for around a week & half, passed clots too (sorry for tmi) 2 clots were really big but hospital said it was all normal... I was in a lot of pain after but they gave me strong painkillers to go home with. Don't worry you'll be well looked after. Sorry about your loss, take care.

I'm so sorry. I had a mmc as well (baby stopped growing around 9w) and had a D&C. The D&C is quick and painless and you're put to sleep. I never experience cramps after and only bled lightly for 10 days.

You will not be awake. It's really easier physically than it is mentally to go through this. After anesthesia I was sleepy all day. Just minimal cramping after. I bled for maybe 2 days and got my period exactly 4 weeks later.

I had a missed mc to.. I also had a d&c you are put to sleep for it you don't feel a thing.. your only in hospital for a few hours thou I was in pretty much all day.. I bled for a couple days after 3 at the most, then took a period 5 weeks later sorry for your loss
