I am 6w3d and my first appointment isn't until I will be almost 12 weeks...talk about a long time to wait! I just hope these next 5 weeks fly by. This is my second pregnancy. With my first, I didn't even find out I was pregnant until I was 10 weeks along, so this time it really feels likes it's taking forever!!

I know you're excited, but at least in my past experiences, the appointments are pretty uneventful. It's awesome to hear the hb, but that's pretty much it! I didn't get an u/s with my first until 16 weeks and 6 weeks with my second only b/c I was spotting...

I'm the same! I'm 8 weeks 1 day and my appointment isn't for 10 more days, yet I booked it at 4 weeks! (the day I got my bfp). The receptionist tried to tell me that she wouldn't see me until 12 weeks!! I insisted sooner as I have PCOS and this is my first pregnancy... Can't wait for next Wednesday!!!

Strange how different offices do things. I was given my first u/s at 6 weeks and get one every 3 weeks after during the first trimester.

I'll be 7w5d when I have my first visit on Wednesday. But that's just to confirm the pregnancy. Then will have to wait I guess. I hate waiting lol

I had my first appt on Friday, it was just the booking appt, I was 8+5. Midwife asked loads of questions an took blood. Im now 9+1.

Next appt is at 12wks for my u/s but im in the uk an they dont do first u/s till 12wks so iv 3wks to go.

I went to a free women's resource place and had a free urine test at 4 weeks. Then at 8 weeks I had an ultrasound. I even got a picture. Alllll free. 😥

I will be 11 weeks 3 days when I go in for my first real visit. I had to go in on aug 18 but that was to make sure I was preggers and get the IUD taken out.

I will be 10w2d by the time I have my 1st appt! I'm SO ready!

Oh no! I hope they don't make me wait that long for an u/s. I would go crazy! But at least your baby will already look like a baby when you see him/her for the first time! :)

I hope so! After making me wait more than a month the least they can do is let me see a picture of my baby :P

I did! you're going to be further along than me, when I got mine, so I don't see why you wouldn't! =)

Wow! Do you know if you are going to get an ultrasound at your first appt?

I was totally anxious to have my first appointment! when I found out, going by my LMP I would have been just over 8 weeks and I only waited about 3 days for my first appointment and I was bouncing off the walls the entire time... I can't imagine waiting until 10 weeks!!!!!! the anticipation must be brutal. Congrats!!!
