unisom
How fast does it work? My brother in law is picking it up for me.
I guess I got the wrong unisom I needed to get the kind with doxylamine in it, ?
It never worked for me. I kept Gatorade frozen in small ice cube trays and would suck on those so I didn't get too dehydrated. Salty foods like nuts tended to stay down better when it was really bad. I ended up having to get a prescription for zofran though and was diagnosed with hg after 2 hospital visits for fluids.
I'm sorry that sucks and totally the reason I waited 14 years to have#2 lol
the only thing that worked for me was medication and sea bands
I ate a lot of crackers and tried not to drink plain water as it just sat there in my stomach like a lump of coal idk just small bites here and there not too much at 1 time
I was told a long time ago if u eat ir drink 1 tsp if u can hold it down for 20 min to then increase it slightly until u hold that down etc etc sucks when ur suoer hungry or thirsty but better than throwing a ton up
I can't just eat those foods because I will have a sugar Spike. No sugary or starchy food for me
Ugh girl I feel your pain. I’m 12 weeks and week 7 and 8 were by far the worst for the morning sickness I ate hardly anything threw up atleast 8 times a day and I was sooooo dizzy I didn’t get out of bed other then to throw up for 3 days. I tried unison and b6 , then reglan which helped some and the dr took pity and gave me zofran which helps more. At 10 weeks I saw a decrease finally! I lived on popsicles all day. Ever Other trick didn’t work for me I also lost 15 lbs and am finally able to eat small again. Praying your out of the worst soon!
My midwife told me to take b6 too so I have been taking that for a while. I know it will make me tired I just don't want to feel sick anymore
It'll probably make you super sleepy the first few doses, so keep that in mind. I think it's supposed to work within a half hour. It didn't help me, unfortunately. My doctor recommended taking b-6 along with it. Could you be dehydrated? If you're dizzy you could be. If it gets worse, call your midwife again and see if you should go to the er for fluids. And if unisom doesn't work, there are a few that could help. Zofran is the only thing that works for me. If I take it right when I wake up, then I can usually keep up on eating enough throughout the day without another dose. Can you keep Gatorade down? Maybe sucking on peppermint or fruity candies will help? Good luck. I've been there and it sucks. (lost 10lbs this pregnancy but slowly gaining it back once I hit week 15).
I've been so nauseous and desperate for relief, I got every recommended product under the sun. My nausea was still so bad even using preggie pop drops, tummydrops, Emetrol, and vitamin B6, but No to morning sickness tea is a helpful part of the rotation. The taste is perfect and as long as I'm drinking the tea, I definitely feel better. I'm going back for more as soon as I run out.
