Dh rant!
We've recently switch to cloth diapers. I changed my youngest and go into the bathroom to rinse the insert and cover becuase it was a nighttime diaper and drenched. I walk over to the sink ready to get my task done and snuggle into bed for two more hours of uninterupted sleep, only to be hit with a smell of pee so bad that I swore someone peed on the floor or something. Nope! Dh hasnt been rinsing the inserts at all! We have to double insert ds1's diapers everytime becuase he's a heavy peer and getting ready to potty train. So I just spent the last five minutes rinsing out cloth diapers in hopes of not having to strip my new cloth diapers already. (I'm pretty sure I'll have to.)

Okay relax. lol. I know it's annoying but you don't have to rinse out diapers that have only been peed on. I've been clothing diapering for six months and we do not rinse pee diapers. When you put them in the wash you do a rinse cycle before washing on cold. So you should not need to strip the diapers. Stripping usually needs to be done for other things and if it is because of smell that can be a detergent problem. But seeing as you don't have a pail yet I understand why you would want to but it's not necessary so don't stress about stripping. But I won't tell him that. Lol.
